A SWEDISH CAR-T TRIAL SAW COMPLETE RESPONSES IN 8 OF 12 PATIENTS.
Eight complete responses. Twelve patients.

Elicera Therapeutics has completed the dose-escalation portion of a Phase I study of ELC-301, an experimental CAR-T therapy for people with relapsed or refractory B-cell lymphoma and no remaining curative options. Eight of 12 participants achieved complete metabolic response as their best response, meaning no active disease was detected on metabolic imaging. Eleven had an objective tumour response, and six of the eight complete responders remained in complete response at their latest assessment. No dose-limiting toxicity was reported across the three dose cohorts. The trial is moving to Phase IIa, where a larger group and longer follow-up can test whether the early signal holds.
WHAT HAPPENED
The company reported the completed Phase I results on October 12, 2026. All 12 patients had at least one month of efficacy follow-up; one complete response had lasted at least 18 months and another at least 12 months.
WHY THIS IS HOPESLOP
For patients who had run out of curative options, an early response signal can matter enormously. The honest hope here is not certainty—it is a credible next question worth testing.
