What we collect
If you submit something, we store the source link, your description, the creator or source name, your rights confirmation, and your email address if you choose to give one. If you join the Daily Slop, we store your email address and the date you signed up.
How submissions are handled
Every submission is saved as pending and is private. Nothing appears on the site until a moderator reviews it, approves it, and promotes it to the public feed. Submitter email addresses are never published.
Feedback you send us
If you use the feedback form, we store your message so a human can read and act on it. An email address is optional and is used only to reply about that feedback — it is never added to the Daily Slop list, never sent to our email provider as a subscriber, and never treated as marketing consent. We may also store the Hopeslop page you were on when you opened the form, so the note has context. To limit abuse, your browser keeps a random feedback token that we hash before storing; we do not intentionally store the raw token, your IP address or your device details with the feedback record.
Leaving the list
Ask us to remove your email address or delete a submission and we will, at hello@hopeslop.com.
Original media
Do not submit media you do not have permission to share. Linking to an original source is usually better than uploading someone else’s work.
